A New Chapter for An Ellegant Life

It has been a long time since I last wrote here.

When I first created An Ellegant Life, life looked very different. I was newly married, building a home, discovering new recipes, and sharing the little creative things that brought me joy.

Since then, life has become fuller in every sense of the word.

I am now balancing a career I love, two busy little girls, family responsibilities, meals, school schedules, holidays, calendars, traditions, and all of the everyday details that somehow keep a household moving forward. Like so many women, I have learned that life can be beautiful and meaningful—and also incredibly busy.

Over the years, friends and family have often asked how I keep up with everything. The honest answer is that I do not always have it all together. But I have learned that a little planning, a few simple systems, and some thoughtful preparation can make a very full life feel more manageable.

That is what this new chapter of An Ellegant Life will be about.

This will be a place for practical ideas that help bring more order, ease, and intention to everyday life. I will share simple meals, weekly planning routines, holiday preparation, school and family systems, favorite products, traditions, and the little things that help make a home feel warm and well loved.

This is not about perfection.

It is not about having the most beautiful home, the most organized pantry, or every moment carefully curated. It is about finding realistic ways to make room for the people and experiences that matter most.

I still love a beautiful table, a cozy holiday tradition, a well-planned week, and a good meal shared with family. But I also know that real life is messy, busy, emotional, and constantly changing.

My hope is that this space feels helpful, encouraging, and attainable—a place to gather ideas, feel inspired, and take what works for your own life.

Thank you for being here, whether you are returning after all these years or finding An Ellegant Life for the first time.

Here’s to simple systems, meaningful traditions, and a life well planned—with plenty of room for what matters most.

With love,
Elle
