Wonderful Summer

This summer so far has been wonderful. We have been able to spend time with family and friends and do fun things around the area. I know that I have been MIA for a little while - that is summer for you. But I hope to get back into the swing of things with the blog soon. For now, here are some pictures from our activities throughout the summer.

Leutze Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas celebration with my side of the family. We brought Marv and Jameson too. Buddy warmed up to playing eventually. For the first hour, he camped out on Dad's lap.

We were all spoiled by Mom and Dad. Even the pups got their own stocking here with special treats and toys.

Dad was really happy with his new crossbow case.

And Christopher and I received lots of beautiful clothing and treats. Like I said, we were spoiled!

Papa and Uncle Jeff then joined us and we had a delicious dinner of ham and cheesy potatoes. Yummy! That holiday meal never gets old!

We are incredible fortunate to have such wonderful families. Our Christmas was joyous and relaxing spent with the ones who matter most to us!!!

Our Thanksgiving Celebration

Our Thanksgiving celebration was absolutely wonderful! Everything went very smoothly and all of the food was delicious. We could not have done it without the help of our wonderful mothers and the delicious desserts from Uncle Jeff.

To start, we had some delicious light appetizers of fruit, cheese, crackers and delicious veggies.

Of course our Thanksgiving dinner would not be complete without my Mom's amazing French Onion Soup. There was barely any leftover - much to everyone's disappointment.

For the main course we served: Turkey, gravy, apple-sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, corn, carrots, jello, cranberry sauce, applesauce and rolls. Yummy.

And since we left room for dessert (or just over ate like everyone else lol) - for dessert we served, 3 pies - apple, pumpkin and cherry, chocolate cake (Wegman's Ultimate - thanks Uncle Jeff!) and a pumpkin roll.

But our favorite part of Thanksgiving was spending time with each other. It was so great to see my cousin Brandon and meet his girlfriend Crystal. And J was able to come home for the holiday too!

Marv and Jameson also received lots of snuggles from their grandparents. We served them a special dinner too - Turducken dog food. It actually looked like a real "human" stew. Not that we were able to try it lol.

All in all it was a great holiday. I love spending time with my family!

Papa's 94th Birthday!

Yes you heard that correctly - this guy just turned 94 years old! He is one incredible man and I am so proud to call him Papa. Marv and I went over on the 19th to celebrate with him. We had a fun time visiting and Marv got a lot of pets from Papa.

And we found this gem (see mug pic) sitting on Papa's desk. This is a mug that Trev made him years ago and he has still kept it...how stinkin' sweet!
