Look Who I Got to Hangout with on Wednesday

My friend MOLLY! It had been a while since I had seen her and she is getting SO BIG! She was all smiles, laughs and giggles. And...she is starting to cut her first tooth!

It was also so great to see my best friend Christine. She is one of the most fabulous people I know. And of course the doggies had a play date too! Marv slept all the way home and I heard that Max feel asleep on the couch after we left.

Sneak Peek: Disney Parks Cards

I am so excited to share with all of you a sneak peek at the Disney Park's Cards that I have developed. Many hours of research and review have been put into these babies and I am so excited to get a couple sets finished and uploaded for sale!

Each deck will feature a park and over 100 fun facts and trivia. These cards are perfect to take with you to the park and run through the fun facts while you wait in line for your favorite attractions. It is great to entertain kids (and of course adults too) and for them to develop a greater appreciation for everything created in front of their eyes!

I am planning on selling the set of 4 parks for $25! To make the deal even better, for the first month of sales, I am going to throw in a special Disney Resorts fun fact deck for FREE! If you are only looking for a certain park, each parks deck will be sold separately at $8 per deck.

Hopefully these babies will go on the Etsy site soon. For now, here is your sneak peek!

TWO MONTHS TO GO!

I am so excited - two months to go before we leave for our next Disney trip. Ahhhh - I am dying for a little heat - it has been such a crappy winter.

We are going for a full week, which we are so excited about. We should be plenty of time to get in the attractions, shopping and eating we want to do. Currently our days are planned as follows (always subject to change)

Day 1: We are going to get to Orlando very early in the morning. That was not exactly our intention - we waited a little too long to book our flights. So we are getting in super early and we are leaving super late - like we don't get home until after midnight - yikes! But the glass is half full with us so at least this will give us more time in the parks. Our first day we are going to enjoy Epcot. This is one of our favorite parks and we are looking forward to getting back into Disney shape here. We didn't make too many dining reservations this trip because want the flexibility to move around where we need to and we usually do not eat at the many fabulous quick service restaurants. The last couple years we did the dining plan and pigged out at all of the full service restaurants, so we want to see that the quick serves have to offer. But with that said, one of our few dining reservations is dinner at Tokyo Dining. Christopher is very excited and looking forward to having some sushi.

Day 2: We are heading to Magic Kingdom! Our fingers are crossed that the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will be open and we will be able to ride it! It has been so fun watching all the construction the last couple years. We make our fastpass+ selections soon and we are hoping to get into the Be Our Guest restaurant for lunch. I am craving the Croque Monsieur sandwich.

Day 3: Nothing is really planned. Maybe a nice day exploring our resort and pool area? Maybe a trip to a water park? Disney Quest? We do have two reservations for this day - Breakfast at Kona Cafe (can you Tonga Toast!) and Dinner at Cape May. Christopher is really looking forward to the seafood buffet. I have a feeling we are going to be doing a food challenge like how many shrimp can one eat.

Day 4: Back to Epcot! I have a feeling the first day we are going to be busy wandering the park looking at all of the gardens and topiaries, so we will need a day to catch up on the attractions and food offerings around the showcase. My list of foods to try to growing longer and longer - definitely need to take some off the list.

Day 5: Magic Kingdom Day and 'Ohana for dinner. I am so looking forward to trying this restaurant. I have heard fabulous things about it. Plus it is only a monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom - just in case we want to slip back for the fireworks ;)

Day 6 & 7: Hollywood Studios - can you say STAR WARS WEEKEND!!!! Christopher has been dying to see what this festival is all about. I am so glad that we are going to be experiencing this, this year. I am already starting to look for t-shirts and tank tops to wear because I am certainly not going in costume. Christopher on the other hand...he stressing over his outfit. Hopefully he will have it worked out soon.

Day 8: Nothing is planned for our last day. Maybe some last minute shopping? Pool day? Last jaunt to the parks? Like I said, our flight is not until super late sooooo....we have a lot of possibilities open to us.

While we are down there, Disney is doing the 24-hours of parks celebration at Magic Kingdom. I would love to check it out, but a little leary of being out so late. What type of people are at the park at 2 am? Will it be really crowded? How much is going to be open? Not sure we are going to partake but it would be something cool to say we did.

I will let you all know how our fastpass+ bookings go! I hope we get some great afternoon times when the lines are normally super long!

This Weekend's Fun Projects

This past weekend we did a bunch of errand running and got started on some home projects. Friday night we were total bums and continued our James Bond marathon. It is sad that I am actually sad we are over halfway through? Already thinking about our next movie marathon or show watching we can do.

Saturday morning we did a bunch of errand running and I brought Christopher along - which is dangerous because he usually can find extra things that we "need." Surprisingly enough, we did not go over budget on our purchases.

Once we got home, Christopher got started on refinishing a side table that was his grandparents. I will have to pull some of the before shots off his phone. It is going to take a while to complete the project because the legs and parts of the table are ornate and he has to go a lot of the sanding by hand. Which is also hard right now because he only has use of ONE HAND.

I caught up on a bunch of cleaning. I re-arranged some of our bedroom furniture organized our bed linens. I also planted our herbs and some flower seeds (it has to get warm someday - right?). Then on Sunday I re-organized the closet in our office. My goal is to create one of the craft closet/offices out of the closet. Christopher loves the idea because then my craft stuff isn't all over the house and when it becomes chaos in the middle of a project, all we have to do is shut the doors. But step one was to clean it all out and re-organize it for now. Come summer time, we will re-paint and Christopher is going to make my desk.

Needless to say I am pooped today at work but very happy with the results of a busy weekend!

The "After" shot - the "before" was just too embarrassing lol. One bag each of garbage and recycling plus some donations.

Idea of a craft station closet:
closet turned office

office closet-- I like this office closet well enough, but I actually enjoyed reading the blog more than the closet so I am pinning this so I can go back and read....

Office closet - I like the idea of having the ability to lock work in the closet with the monsters and dust bunnies...

Disney Vacation Planners

I have been pretty productive when it comes to my Etsy shop lately. My latest creation are instant downloadable digital files for vacation planning! I am really looking forward to them out myself with our upcoming trip to Disney.

There are five versions of planners - Value, Moderate, Deluxe, Castle and Walt. The "Walt" is the most complete of all planners including helpful guides and locations of penny press, fireworks, FastPass+ kiosks and more.

If you get a chance, check them out and if you like them, please favorite the item or my shop :)

March's Blizzard

Like everyone else, I am tired of Winter - especially the snow. When Christopher scheduled his surgery we thought for sure we would be done with all of the major snow storms. We jinxed ourselves because while he has been out, I have had to pull the snow blower out TWICE! And shoveled a couple of times. GRRR - so ready for spring!

I thought I would share a couple of pics from the day. The county closed, so Christopher was home for the day and I choose to work from home (very smart choice). I set myself up in the sunroom to watch the storm and focus on work. I was surprised that I had a very productive day!

Marv did not mind the snow either - he loves eating it!

Disney Planners on Etsy

Since I am so crazed on Disney, I thought I would start selling some digital copy planners that I use for our vacations on Etsy. I LOVE being organized and there is nothing more I love than planners! There is something so fun about filling them in. Maybe that is why I love surveys too.

I currently only have a dining planner up, but I am going to have a financial planner, daily planner, packing list, etc up soon. There are currently three dining planners to choose from: Mickey Mouse Themed, Princess Themed and Donald Duck Themed.

My family has also encouraged me to make and sell the parks cards that I made for our last vacation. This is definitely more work, but I think I should have the first set done soon :) I am looking forward to seeing how they will turn out! Thanks for everyone who I have involved in reading hundreds of cards of trivia. I am sure you are all Disney'd out right now...or is that even possible?

Every night I have so much fun creating the planners, reading and doing research for the parks cards and just creating something in general. Looking forward to this weekend and getting my craft on!

Marv's Agility Training

This winter we started Marv in agility training classes. This winter has been so horrible, not only for us, but also for Marv because it means less play time and romping outside. Especially on these sub-zero days. So we decided to enroll him in these classes to keep him busy and less stir crazy.

He is taking very well to the class and is the star! Our instructors are very pleased with his progress and are encouraging us to continue his classes to the next section. I feel like we are getting trained just as much as Marv is.

We were able to take a little video a couple weeks ago of him running a small course. Our little superstar!

What Happened to Us???

I am back! Sorry for the long hiatus. I have no excuse for not updating the blog in a while - so I apologize for that!

Us Musialowski's have had an exciting new year so far. To sum up the last two months:

- Jack Patrick's 1st birthday
- Elle's started TLS - a healthy living plan (so far lost 14 pounds and 12 1/2 inches - woo hoo)
- celebrated Ryan & Linz's engagement
- our friend gave birth to twin baby girls
- Marv started Agility classes
- we hosted a GAMBIT gift gathering for CHS
- started our upstairs remodeling project
- attended Canisius College Basketball games, a Sabres game, BPO concert
- visited Jonathan and celebrated his 32nd birthday
- Christopher ran in the Chilly Challenge
- Christopher had shoulder surgery

Phew - it has been a crazy start to the new year and the way things are going it looks like it will continue to be that way for while - which is okay for us. We love being busy.

Elle's TLS program - getting the New Year off to a healthy start!

Happy Birthday to Jack Patrick

Congrats to our cousin Lindsay and Ryan on their engagement. Elle was also asked to be a bridesmaid - can't wait!

Aunt Cleo gave us tickets to the Sabres game for Christmas. Although they lost, it was a good time!

Go GRIFFS. The Golden Griffins beat Niagara...TWICE. It was awesome. The Griffs are now in 4th place in the MAAC.

BPO Concert

Little Mandy played orphan Annie in her high school musical. She was fantastic.

Will you be Valentine?

We all road tripped it to visit J for his birthday. It was our first "family" road trip with Mr. Marv. He did pretty well except for the hotel stay.

And they are off! Christopher ran in CHS's Chilly Challenge and placed 3rd in his category - way to go Christopher!

Christopher post surgery. Everything went really well. Marv helped take care of his Daddy.
