TWO MONTHS TO GO!

I am so excited - two months to go before we leave for our next Disney trip. Ahhhh - I am dying for a little heat - it has been such a crappy winter.

We are going for a full week, which we are so excited about. We should be plenty of time to get in the attractions, shopping and eating we want to do. Currently our days are planned as follows (always subject to change)

Day 1: We are going to get to Orlando very early in the morning. That was not exactly our intention - we waited a little too long to book our flights. So we are getting in super early and we are leaving super late - like we don't get home until after midnight - yikes! But the glass is half full with us so at least this will give us more time in the parks. Our first day we are going to enjoy Epcot. This is one of our favorite parks and we are looking forward to getting back into Disney shape here. We didn't make too many dining reservations this trip because want the flexibility to move around where we need to and we usually do not eat at the many fabulous quick service restaurants. The last couple years we did the dining plan and pigged out at all of the full service restaurants, so we want to see that the quick serves have to offer. But with that said, one of our few dining reservations is dinner at Tokyo Dining. Christopher is very excited and looking forward to having some sushi.

Day 2: We are heading to Magic Kingdom! Our fingers are crossed that the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will be open and we will be able to ride it! It has been so fun watching all the construction the last couple years. We make our fastpass+ selections soon and we are hoping to get into the Be Our Guest restaurant for lunch. I am craving the Croque Monsieur sandwich.

Day 3: Nothing is really planned. Maybe a nice day exploring our resort and pool area? Maybe a trip to a water park? Disney Quest? We do have two reservations for this day - Breakfast at Kona Cafe (can you Tonga Toast!) and Dinner at Cape May. Christopher is really looking forward to the seafood buffet. I have a feeling we are going to be doing a food challenge like how many shrimp can one eat.

Day 4: Back to Epcot! I have a feeling the first day we are going to be busy wandering the park looking at all of the gardens and topiaries, so we will need a day to catch up on the attractions and food offerings around the showcase. My list of foods to try to growing longer and longer - definitely need to take some off the list.

Day 5: Magic Kingdom Day and 'Ohana for dinner. I am so looking forward to trying this restaurant. I have heard fabulous things about it. Plus it is only a monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom - just in case we want to slip back for the fireworks ;)

Day 6 & 7: Hollywood Studios - can you say STAR WARS WEEKEND!!!! Christopher has been dying to see what this festival is all about. I am so glad that we are going to be experiencing this, this year. I am already starting to look for t-shirts and tank tops to wear because I am certainly not going in costume. Christopher on the other hand...he stressing over his outfit. Hopefully he will have it worked out soon.

Day 8: Nothing is planned for our last day. Maybe some last minute shopping? Pool day? Last jaunt to the parks? Like I said, our flight is not until super late sooooo....we have a lot of possibilities open to us.

While we are down there, Disney is doing the 24-hours of parks celebration at Magic Kingdom. I would love to check it out, but a little leary of being out so late. What type of people are at the park at 2 am? Will it be really crowded? How much is going to be open? Not sure we are going to partake but it would be something cool to say we did.

I will let you all know how our fastpass+ bookings go! I hope we get some great afternoon times when the lines are normally super long!
