Also in August, we were able to attend and see the works of Mom Musialowski's excellent conference hosting skills! We were able to attend as a guest the opening night dinner and party and the closing event at the Bison's Game.
Mom had quite the spread at the opening dinner which was held at Templeton Landing. To start, a full premium bar was offered as well as a stocked raw bar. Christopher enjoyed the raw bar with clams, mussels, crab legs and more.
Dinner was a delicious spread of buffalo themed food and well as a cute buffalo chicken wing dip station (so sad I did not get pictures of it!). Throughout the night a Frank Sinatra cover artist sang rat pack hits and people danced. Not forgetting dessert, she planned a fun s'mores station for the kids attending, that also had mini cannolis and cute buffalo cookies. To top that off, she hired a gelato cart that served guests their choice of 8 different flavors of gelato.
To top it off, it was a beautiful night on the Buffalo Waterfront. A great way to end the weekend.
Then on the following Tuesday we headed to Pilot Field to watch the Bisons and enjoy the NEC closing ceremony. Another lovely event planned by Mom.
Traditional ball park fare was served and she even had bags of popcorn, Cracker Jacks and cotton candy passed around for all to enjoy during the game.
