2013 Epcot Food & Wine Festival - UPDATE

For all the Disney lovers out there I am so excited to read more about the 2013 Epcot Food & Wine Festival updates this week. I follow several Disney news sources, but my favorites are allears.net and disneyfoodblog.com. I think I may have mentioned in a previous blog post that tickets for some of the seminars are going on sale in a couple weeks. These include the Deminars, Wine/Beverage and Mixology seminars.

This year there are two new marketplaces - Scotland and Brazil. According to allears.net and disneyfoodblog.com, the Scotland Marketplace will serve a seared Scottish salmon with cauliflower puree, watercress and malt vinaigrette; Vegetarian Haggis with Neeps and Tatties (griddled vegetable cake with rutabaga and mashed potatoes); and Scottish Banoffee Tart (bananas, Scottish Whiskey toffee, Walker’s Shortbread crumbles and sweet cream).  For beverages, the Innis and Gunn Beer, a Loch Lomond Cocktail and Glenfiddich Flight featuring 12, 15, and 18 years aged.

For beverages, the Xingu Black Beer, Carnaval Moscato White Sparkling and Frozen Caipirinha will be featured.

The Refreshment Port will now feature Dole Whips, including one with liquor in it - yummy!!! They will also feature Dole pineapple fritters and a fried shrimp and fried chicken dish with a Dole pineapple sauce
